Mathematics
Building mathematics skills can be a long-process and starts at a young age. Achieving fluency and automacitity is also very important in Mathematics. The textbook describes fluency as "being able to efficiently and accurately carry out procedures to solve computation problems" and automacitity as "the fast, accurate, and effortless processing of content information." Students may struggle in this subject so having technology-based activities can address math fluency and support success.

FASTT Math - Fluency and Automaticity through Systematic Teaching with Technology. The textbook explains FASTT as "is a math intervention program that helps students acquire math fact fluency and assesses students’ command of basic facts by measuring response time and then generates customized activities based on the results" (Dell, 2012).
Caluscribe - This word processing device has a built in calculator. It is very similar to the Alphasmart. It has the basic keys of a keyboard plus a number keypad below it.
